How the journey works
Daraa sits on the Jordanian border, which gives it two genuinely different ways in: Damascus and about an hour and a half south, or Amman and the Nasib crossing from the other side. The Jordanian route is the one people forget, and for some dates it is clearly the cheaper.
The fare

When to travel
The Hauran is green and mild in spring and hot and dry by July. March to May is the season, and it sits well outside the summer fare peak.
