How the journey works
There is no direct flight from Germany to Damascus. The two routes we book most are a connection through a Gulf or regional hub straight into Damascus International, or a flight to Beirut and the road from there — about three hours to the city, and often the cheaper of the two. We price both and tell you which is better for your dates, rather than quoting one and leaving you to find the other.
The fare
Damascus is the route we are asked for most, and the one we have negotiated hardest on. We compare both ways in — direct connection and via Beirut — on every enquiry, and we do not add an agency fee on top of the fare.
When to travel
Spring and autumn are the easiest weather and the easiest fares. Summer is the family season: July and August fill early and rise steeply, so a booking made in spring is routinely a third cheaper than the same seat in June. Ask us in February for August.

Questions and answers
Can I fly straight from Germany to Damascus?
Not on one aircraft — no carrier operates Germany to Damascus non-stop. You travel on a connecting ticket through a hub, or you fly to Beirut and continue by road. Both are normal, both are bookable through us, and we will tell you which is cheaper for your dates.
Is the road from Beirut to Damascus part of the ticket?
No — the flight ends in Beirut and the road leg is arranged separately. We tell you what it costs and how long it takes before you decide, so the comparison with the direct connection is an honest one.
