How the journey works
Erbil has direct services from Germany in most seasons and a wide choice of connections year round. It is also the practical way into the Syrian Jazira — Qamishli and Hasakah are a road journey away — which is why we book it for two quite different groups of travellers.
The fare
Erbil is the third of the three routes we are strongest on, and the one where our direct relationships show up most clearly in the price. Bring us a fare you have found and we will tell you honestly whether we can beat it.
When to travel
Spring is the season — the hills around Erbil and Shaqlawa are green in April and the weather is perfect. July and August are very hot and are also when the diaspora travels, so fares climb on both counts.
